Receiving explicit threat by his deputy Barham Salih, to join the five  
leaders claiming reforms, Jalal Talabani was forced  to agree to all  
the conditions presented plus sharing power within his own party, the  
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan(PUK) in order to avoid breaking, which  
was imminent and about to dilute three months prior to the legislative  
elections in Iraqi Kurdistan.

The five leaders, including the strong Peshmarga leader  Kosarat  
Rasool, Assistant Secretary General and Vice-President of Kurdistan,  
have resigned on Saturday, demanding more resolute fight against  
corruption and more democratic practice within this party founded by  
Talabani in 1975. Hiro Ibrahim Ahmed, Talabani is wife has had strong  
power over the decision concerning the end of the party money and the  
leadership posts for in fifteen years on. A PUK source by phone call  
told FATEHOON correspondent in Berlin that Kosarat Rasool in a calm  
manner confronted Talabani with a number of embarrassing issues,  
giving him the choice either to silently accept the conditions without  
reflecting any negative effects, or to be fully ousted and thereby the  
Kurds and the party bases are to be given reports of all the horrors  
committed by Talabani and his wife Hiro.

The source, a leading member of the party who requested to remain  
anonymous, added that Kosarat asked Talabani to drive out his  
counselor Fakhri Kareem, who issues ALMADA newspaper by full back and  
finance directly from Hiro, Talabani is wife. According to the source,  
Talabani did openly announce that he had had enough of the fakhri  
Kareem whom Kosarat has revealed his secret coordination with Hiro  
Ibrahim is plans and programs which the leadership of the party know  
nothing about. Kosarat spoke openly about Hiro is 20% ownership of the  
Asia Cell Telecom shares and also about Talabani is nephew the called  
ARRAS Sheikh janki is 4% ownership of the same company shares, the  
company run puppetly by Farouk Sayed Mustafa. The official also said  
that Kosarat demanded Talabani to disclose the investments of the  
party represented by a series of real estate in Britain, particularly  
in London and the Kroedn City run by Hiro and her sister,wife of Latif  
Rashid, Minister of the Environment within   the currently Al-Maliki  
government, who was also ex- official of the party in London prior to  
the removal of the former regime.

The source pointed out Talabani announced that he was not the only who  
back the hidden cancer of the party represented by Fakhri Kareem,  
hinting that Massoud Barzani, had granted him a house in Erbil, made  
him of the closest and given him number of  media activities that  
might  compete activities of the Government of the Kurdistan region  
themselves. The source stressed on the fact that Hiro Ibrahim has  
transgressed all limits and that she really sweared to revenge herself  
on the traitors, saying that the party is more important than  
individuals.

The same source said that Talabani, 75 y.o, agreed to the application  
of transparency concerning the Party financial  management and letting  
it be under the disposal of the  Political Bureau, and also to change  
a number of officers within the party offices, in addition to the  
change of the party officials within the Kurdistan Region government.  
The source revealed that the Peshmerga forces announced their  
recognition to Kosarat and his aides, after having controlled over all  
the party headquarters in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, and that Barham  
Salih, has announced his joining Kosarat, the which weakened   
Talabani is position, when suddenly he found himself alone.

The agreement also included the supervision of either Vice-President,  
Kosarat Rasool or Barham Salih, Deputy Prime Minister on the current  
intelligence of the party. Until now, the intelligence bodies are  
under control of those closest to Talabani.

This very was agreement signed on Tuesday in Baghdad during a meeting  
between Talabani, Rasool and Salih. It was also agreed to begin a  
dialogue with a number of the party dissidents, such as Mustafa  
Nesherwan former Assistant Secretary-General to persuade him to return  
to the party.

In addition to Kosarat Rasool, the other four members of the political  
bureau, who had submitted their resignations are Omar Sayid Ali and  
Minister of the Interior of Kurdistan, Othman Haj Mahmood, Jalal  
Jawhar and peshmergas leader Mustafa Sayid Qadir.
